The Radiology Specialist - Ultrasound Tech performs ultrasonic diagnostic tests for patients as ordered.
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs. Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
This position is located at the Vail ED and is scheduled for 12 hour shifts , scheduled 1 shift or more per week with additional hours / shifts possible per the needs of the department.
1100 - 2330 shift Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
AMA approved program completion in ultrasound technology required.
2-4 years experience preferred.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Licensure OR registry eligible (anyone who has graduated from an accredited ultrasound program is ARDMS eligible)
BLS (American Heart Association) certification
