This position is Full Time, Days shift schedule

The primary focus of this position will be"Bed Repair". Provides cost-effective maintenance on beds, stretchersand related patient handling equipment to assure it is functioning properly andmeets customers needs, performs operational verification, preventivemaintenance and corrective repair service, and completes all associateddocumentation and communication in a timely manner.

Ideal candidates will have experience withHill-Rom hospital beds.

Biomedical EquipmentTechnician (BMET) performs and documents preventive maintenance and repair ofgeneral medical equipment and systems with minimal supervision from servicemanagement to perform required duties.

Mustdemonstrate a working knowledge and use of required test equipment and theelectronics, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge and skills,including the ability to interpret and effectively utilize service manuals,schematics, and other applicable service information, required to perform anddocument preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment and systems, asassigned, in accordance with established procedures.  The BMET mustdemonstrate good organizational skills as well as good communications,interpersonal, and customer relations skills as applied to interactions withpersonnel and facility staff.   



Two (2) year degreein Electronics or equivalent training and/or experience.  Plus knowledge of personalcomputers.

Must maintain anactive driver'slicense.
