Sr Financial Analyst - Reimbursement - Accounting
Position works in Accounting in the Admin Services office on the Northwest Medical Center campus and is Full time, 8am-5pm schedule
Performs complex financial, statistical, and analytical analyses. Ability to handle high-level and complex financial analysis by collecting, monitoring, preparing and studying data to provide recommendations.
The Financial Analyst performs various hospital analytics related to analyzing reimbursement and the associated contracts. The position will be required to maintain financial reimbursement models and trends. Additionally, the individual should have very good Excel spreadsheet experience due to the amount of data gathering and manipulation to prepare the analytics required for decision making. There will be responsibilities in extracting daily, bi-weekly, and monthly hospital statistics necessary for corporate reporting.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related financial field.
Required: Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience.
Preferred: Accounting and/or finance experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Skills: Ability to handle high-level and complex financial analysis by collecting, monitoring, preparing, and studying data to provide recommendations. Must have high level proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Detail oriented, highly organized and excellent communication skills. Understanding of Access, SQL and SAP systems a plus.
