Senior Accountant

This is a full time, day shift Senior Accountant position supporting Northwest Medical Center!

Position Purpose

Supports the fiscal service functions of the Accounting Department, including consolidated financial reporting, journal entry preparation, monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly distributions, audit preparation, budgeting, annual taxes and customer support.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related financial field
Exception - Equivalent years of experience substitutes for degree if hired prior to April, 2017.

Experience:

Required: Five (5) years staff accountant experience
Preferred: 3-5 years in a hospital setting

Licenses/Certifications:

Preferred: CPA or MBA.
