This is a full time, day shift position.
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process. Assists with the implementation of plan of care. Provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with select disorders of the GI, GU and integumentary systems. Provides direct patient care to persons with abdominal stomas, wounds, drains, fistulas, wounds and incontinence. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Qualifications
Education: Successful completion of Wound and Ostomy Care Education Program. BSN Required.
Experience: Two (2) years of Acute Care experience
Skills: As defined in Core Competency documentation.
Licenses/Certifications: Required: Arizona RN License or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification. WOCN certification within 12 months of hire.
