Job Description

This is a seasonal position, 13 week contract, working a Day Shift in the CVICU unit.

 

Position Purpose

                                                        

Either directly or indirectly reporting to a nursing supervisor, plans, directs, participates in and evaluates patient care.  Collaborates with other disciplines to provide optimal care.                                                                

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements                                                                

Education:                

Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program                                                                                             Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

 

Experience:                

Clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.                                                

 

Licenses/Certifications:        

"Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS. 

ACLS (AHA) for: ACT, Ambulatory, Cardiac Rehab, Cat Scan, Cath Lab, COU, Dialysis, ED, GI, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Nursing Admin (Float Pool), PACU, Short Stay, Telemetry. 

PALS (AHA) or ENPC for: ED

PALS (AHA) for: PACU and Urgent Care

NRP for: Women's Center

(All new graduate nurses or nurses new to specialty area have 180 days in which to obtain ACLS, PALS or NRP, as required by unit)."
