This is a full time day shift working in the Cath Lab at Houghton Hospital in Tucson, AZ

Join a group of health care professionals highly dedicated to the positive outcomes of our cardiac patients. Northwest Houghton Hospital provides RNs and clinicians with cath lab experience or critical care experience wanting to learn and expand skills! 

Position Overview :

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing. Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:                

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required.  BSN preferred.                                                  

Experience:                

Previous clinical experience in Cath Lab highly preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

BLS Basic Cardiac & ACLS ( American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
