Receiving Tech

The Receiving Tech position is full time working at Oro Valley Hospital.

Position Purpose
Receives, inspects and delivers incoming materials, supplies, and equipment to general stores or to the user departments as directed.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Some experience in receiving and related procedures strongly preferred.

Skills: Ability to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronic means. Familiarity with medical terminology, computer experience, and excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload. Daily exposure to high volume deliveries requiring attention to detail. Input data into computer programs. Calculator, Multi-line telephones, personal computer, problem solving, Information Systems utilized by the organization.

Licenses/Certifications: None required.
