Northwest Medical Center is a 300-bed hospital offering a full range of healthcare services including emergency services, accredited chest pain and heart failure programs, neurology and neurosurgery, outpatient imaging, a nationally accredited surgical weight loss program, total joint program, spine program and stroke center (recognized with Gold Seal designations by The Joint Commission), robotic surgery, GI lab, a free-standing women’s center, inpatient rehabilitation facility, wound care center, five urgent care facilities, and three ambulatory surgery centers. As an NWHC leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.

Manages daily operations of providers, overseeing staffing,patient flow, budgets and efficiency of operations.  Determinesqualifications and competencies required for departmental staff. Recruits, selects, trains and assigns work.  Serves as liaison forphysicians regarding administrative issues.  Manages budgets, monitorsmonthly expense & revenue reports and recommends capital expenditures &investment plans.  Ensure patient and family satisfaction.  Ensuresoverall efficiency of operations.


Qualifications

Education: 
Bachelors degree in finance, business management or closely related field.

Experience: 
Required:  Five (5) years of leadership experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting.
Preferred:  Two (2) years of leadership experience working in Primary Care practices.
