$30,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible, experienced Physical Therapist's!

This is a Full time day shift position working in the Skilled Nursing Unit at Oro Valley Hospital.

Candidate will work primarily in our Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) with some floating to acute care and possibly OP when needed.

Evaluating and assessing needs of patients and formulating treatment plans. Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans. Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff. May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager. 

Candidate will work primarily in our Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) with some floating to acute care and possibly OP when needed. Additional orientation will occur in each unit they will work in and expectations will be clearly defined.

Position Purpose
Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education: Required: Bachelor/Master/or Doctorate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
Experience: Preferred: One (1) year in acute care
Skills: Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications: "Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapist license;
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification
Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card "
