Medical Records Tech II - Main Hospital
Position is Full Time: 0800-1630 p.m., Sunday-Thursday schedule
Focused: Strong excel skills and ability to learn quickly, excellent customer service sills, experience with physician training with Powerscribe ( Rad. trans system) and Cerner, Birth Registrar, EBRS software, Strong attention to detail.

Analyzes and assigns for completion all records of discharged patients to ensure compliance with established hospital policies and procedures and other regulatory requirements, collects and compiles statistical data, monitors performance and creates action plans as needed.
Quality Controls (QC) documentation in a timely manner (visits, loose sheets, ROI etc.) by grouping patients and barcodes in proper books and ensuring good quality images according to established procedure.
Analyzes designated services in a timely manner (i.e.. INPT/OBS/ER/SOP etc.) by assigning proper deficiencies per Joint Commission and facility guidelines for signature, co-signature, and dictations according to the established procedure. Monitors and works each task queue as required; corrects information in the EMR system and does follow up with any necessary departments.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
"Required: High School diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Completion of a records management program."
Required: One (1) year experience in Health Information Management.
Multi-line telephone system, personal computer operation.
