Job Description

Position is Full Time, 8 hour shifts , rotational schedule working some weekend shifts 

Position Purpose

Performs a wide variety of tasks including restocking of supplies, maintaining inventories, compiling stock records and addressing distribution issues of departments outside of the hospital building. Performs duties to distribute medical and general supplies hospital-wide. Insures department or patient charges for items issued from the Storeroom.                  


Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements        


High School diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience required.                                                

Required Experience:

Warehouse or supply handling experience. 

One year experience in Healthcare Supply Chain preferred.                                                



Ability to follow written and oral instructions plus follow established procedures.  Daily exposure to high volume deliveries requiring attention to detail.  Input data into computer programs.  Answer phones.

Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards.


Working Conditions                                                                

Occasional exposure to unpleasant patient or unit elements.  Handles emergency or crisis situations.  Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
