Lead Sterile Processing Tech

This a Full Time Lead Position working at Northwest Medical Center

$5,000 sign on bonus for qualified Sterile Processing Techs!!

Summary:

Supervises department operations during assigned shift. Interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations as appropriate to department and medical staff. Performs duties of central sterilization technician when necessary.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Preferred: Post High School Vocational/Specialized training

Experience:

Preferred: 2 years Central Sterilization experience; Supervisory/lead experience

Skills:

Ability to provide daily operational leadership to small teams. Appropriate prioritization while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.

Licenses/Certifications:

None required.
