Hospital Facilities Director
Directs facilities department for a 300 bed hospital. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. May manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Education Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience Required: Five (5) years of experience in facilities management/plant operations; Three (3) years leadership experience.
Experience Preferred: Experience managing large healthcare facility/hospital.
Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in facilities management.
