Full Time Position

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the management and coordination of all Emergency Medical Services activities. Monitors the quality improvement process and seeks to continually improve the provision of Emergency Medical Services. Responsible for providing EMS support and instruction to all personnel including legal liabilities, certifications, health issues, logistics, protocol, procedure, guideline development, and incident support. Responds to and provides necessary medical oversight on mass casualty incidents and multiple patient scenes. Responds to other medical and public assist incidents on a regular basis to maintain expertise and provide necessary oversight. May respond to and assist in the management of fire and hazardous materials incidents is so qualified.  Acts as liaison with and provides assistance to other EMS agencies. Coordinates and trains for EMS programs within the department and with outside agencies and organizations.

Experience:

Licenses/Certifications:

Certified EMT Instructor level II or III within 12 months, Certified CPR Instructor, ACLS Instructor.
