Director, Clinical Outreach
The Director, Clinical Outreach is a full-time - days position working in the Business Development Department at Northwest Medical Center focusing on growing the NWHC system through building awareness, confidence and loyalty with independent and employed PCPs and Specialists. This position requires relationship building, issue resolution, and sales skills. Up to 75% local Travel required (no overnight stays).
The Professional Outreach Director is responsible for achieving volume growth by developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other applicable referral sources for hospital-specific service lines or employed physician specialists that are in alignment with the Division and Market Strategy. Under direction of the hospital CEOs, the DPO will develop and implement plans of action for determining and achieving physician satisfaction with the hospital and its departments through open dialogue and in-person visits with both affiliated and non-affiliated physicians in the assigned service area.
Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or marketing from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred."
Experience: "Required: Minimum five (5) years experience in healthcare, marketing or related field. Knowledge of EMS and Hospital operations is preferred. Preferred: Knowledge of EMS and Hospital operations is preferred. Clinical and/or sales background with experience in business development in healthcare networks or regional markets. "
Licenses/Certifications: "Required: Valid Driver's License
Required: RN or clinical licensure (such as C.N.A., EMT, Medical Asst.)"
