This position is Full Time, Night shift schedule.


The Clinical NurseLeader in the (OB) Mother Baby Unit at the Women's Center Responsible forcompliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area;reports to the Department Director. 

Responsible forcompliance with standards during assigned shift; reports to House Supervisor orDepartment Director.  Uses establishedprinciples of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of alllicensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery ofpatient care during their assigned shift 

Uses independentjudgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use ofavailable resources.         



Qualifications

Education:               

ADN or Diploma inNursing Program,  BSN preferred

Experience:               

Clinical experiencein area of expertise preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:       
Required:

Current Arizona RNlicense or compact state license

BLS certificationcard (CPR)- American Heart Association

NRP for Women'sCenter

(All new graduatenurses or nurses new to specialty area have 180 days in which to obtain ACLS,PALS or NRP, as required by unit)."
