Northwest MedicalCenter’s Nutritional Services offers an environment of excellent patientservice and an opportunity to provide patients with nourishing meals.  The Catering to You program’s goal is toprovide a restaurant experience within the limitations of prescribedtherapeutic diets.  As a cateringassociate, you will personally visit patients to obtain meal selections,prepare and deliver meals and work directly with Chef’s, Dietitians, nursingand kitchen staff members to provide delicious food to our patients.  We pride ourselves in teamwork and assistingeach other, supporting the entire staff. Successful catering associates exhibit great customer service skills,knowledge of therapeutic diets and effective time management skills.  We look forward to meeting new candidatesthat wish to work in the Nutritional Services Department at Northwest MedicalCenter. 

Sets up and serveshigh quality nutritional meals to patients. Includes a variety of duties related to the serving of food, assistspatients with menu selection , works modified diets and coordinates dietadaptations with house menus.  


Provide meal servicesfor patients to include taking menu selection, delivery meal trays and snacks,catering rounds and retrieving trays.

Assemble patient mealtray following all standards, to include dietary guidelines, food quality,temperature, portion size, also adhering to patient personal preference,allergies, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.




Education: High School diploma or GED preferred

Experience: Dietetics: Knowledge of foods andnutrition, familiarity with medical terms related to nutrition, and customerservice experience.

Skills: Customer service. Following written andoral instructions and established procedures.

Licenses: None required.
