The Anesthesia Techin the Operating Room dept. provides support for routine surgical/invasiveprocedure cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patientequipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. 

Assists licensedanesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of theequipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia.          

This is a criticalposition that is essential to providing safe anesthesia care and not onlyservices the OR, but Cath Lab, MRI, GI and interventional. 



Required:  Completion of Anesthesia Tech, EMT, CertifiedNursing Asst. or Surgical Tech course.

Preferred:  EKGcourse.                                                


Two (2) yearsanesthesia technician experiencepreferred.                                                


Ability to work witha team or independently.  Ability to workin a fast paced environment and prioritize multipledemands.                                                


Required: AmericanHeart Association (AHA) BLS. 

Preferred: AmericanHeart Association (AHA) ACLS and PALS;

Cer. A.T. or Cer.A.T.T."
