The Anesthesia TechII in the Operating Room dept. provides support for routine surgical/invasiveprocedure cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patientequipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. 

Assists licensedanesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of theequipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia.          

This is a criticalposition that is essential to providing safe anesthesia care and not onlyservices the OR, but Cath Lab, MRI, GI and interventional. 



Qualifications

Education:                

High Schooldiploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience required. 

Preferred EMTprogram or equivalent. 

EKG coursepreferred.                                                

Experience:                

Two (2) yearsanesthesia technician experiencepreferred.                                                

Skills:                

Ability to work witha team or independently. 

Ability to work in afast paced environment and prioritize multipledemands.                                                

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required: BLS andCer.A.T. or Cer. A.T.T.

Preferred: ACLS andPALS
